"The working class in my country often struggles to live a happy life with healthy meals and warm clothes. It is common knowledge that each person fights a different battle. However, they unintentionally become so occupied with their own battle and slowly forget that there are others in the community who are worse off."
"Everybody in Vietnam knows what Agent Orange is and how the victims are affected. But as I was growing up, these victims and their suffering became normalized. The community remembers that the victims are still there, yet forgets that they still need help. I remember watching the daily news at 7PM on a quiet night in 2006 when Vietnam lost the court case in which it appealed for compensation for Agent Orange victims. I remember asking myself, "What can I do to help?". 10 years later, I finally answered that question."
